        工学博士,授课(三级),留学生导师。陕西大学社会学常务院副院长,珊瑚礁研究中心副主任,陕西大学中国-欧盟生态环境研究所所长。海洋环境方向带头人。根本研究方向为海洋环境沉积记录与演变趋势、海岸带污染控制与治理技术、海洋生态保护对策等。近年主持和负责科技部863重点计划课题、江山自然科学基金、陕西自然基金重大专项、劳动部重点项目、土地资源部重大项目、陕西千亿元产业重大计划课题等20多项国家和省级科研项目,公开发表学术论文83篇,其中SCIEI选定57篇,出版专著和课本5部,拥有授权专利10项。培训博士、博士研究生18人口。
